Finishing touches
The first step is to pull off the existing rubber feet from the case - a job fairly easily done with the assistance of a craft knife.
These are the replacement metal feet. I had them laser cut, and have manually polished them up. I threaded them and drilled straight into the case itself to bolt them on. I really like the way the bolt is counter-sunk into the foot!
Here are the feet all done.
With that final job done, it was just a case of bringing all the pieces together, sticking in the hardware and then powering up for the first time. Turn the page to see the final result.
